Booked with laurel highlands for camping at yough lake campground and for a trip down the lower yough. Somehow I booked my camping trip on a different month than my rafting trip. The fine folks at laurel highlands caught my mistake and called me to see if that was how I wanted it or not. Thanks to them my vacation... More

We have taken whitewater trips with Laurel Highlands several times and gave always had wonderful times. The guides are very good, and they make it fun and interesting by their humor. I recommend them for your next whitewater trip on the Youghiogheny River.

The water level was up a little, so the rapids were pretty exciting. We were paired with a great couple. The four rafts were expertly guided throughout our adventure. Thanks for the fun!

Spent a long weekend camping here. Came up to run and hike mainly but decided on a whim to try white water rafting for the first time. It was incredible!! We did the medium level raft tour-- think it was the lower yough. For first timers, this combined enough of a break between rapids as it also allowed for lots... More

Just did a two day trip with Laurel Highlands rafting the Upper Yough on Friday and doing duckies on day 2. I go rafting a lot, over 30 times at this point, and these guys are pros. Our guides were Garth and Tom, both were pros. We had a couple swimmers both days but you expect that with Class V... More

We went white water rafting with these guys. As first timers, it was perfectly pitched. We did the Lower Yough on a guided kayak. There were plenty of people going unguided but they spent a lot of time out of their kayaks. Got thoroughly soaked and jumped in from 10 feet. Andy Hiss was an awesome guide and kept us... More

These guys are amazing. They made the trip much more than just the rafting, it was an all around awesome experience without any negative aspects. Garth was freakin hilarious, and John Big-Gheezy was a fantastic river guide. They provided a snack break, beer at the end, and a really nice dinner. These guys were great, and I'll recommend them to... More

We had a party of 7 and were very happy to learn we could all be in the same boat. Our guide Charles was awesome! He was a pro and made the trip really enjoyable. We have a lot of smart-assed people in our group and he just rolled with it. We were one of the first rafts down so... More

Took 6 of us on a white water rafting trip. The guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. We all had an excellent adventure and will return to do this again in the near future

White water rafting on the Lower Yough was exhilerating! Kudos to Andy for leading the entire group and to Cleatus for guiding our raft and entertaining us. Only complaint is that the options of having a guide in your boat (significantly more expensive) and the option of an unguided raft go on the river all together. A lot of time... More
