I have been going to Rice's market for over 30 years and there have been many changes over the years. They used to have vendors with "antiques" but now it is mostly new products with many similar items in different booths. The amount of vendors has declined over the years. I still go and even if I don't buy anything... More

I visited Rice's Market this weekend to do some "Black Friday" shopping (they are generally closed on Fridays, but Black Friday is an exception). I was not disappointed. There are tables set up both indoors and outdoors-ranging from antiques and baby clothes to gardening supplies and tools, and everything you can imagine in between. I spent about 3 hours there... Use to go there a lot but won't be going back. Not as many vendors and the ones that are there don't have many products or variety. One vendor was selling things I just bought at the dollar store for two dollars. If the price was right, then the quality was poor. We bought fruit and vegetables, and it all... More

Things have changed too much. The booths were cheap stuff. The bargains were no big deals. The perfumery was a rip off / a fraud. Probably will not go back.

We visited Rice's Market on the 1st Saturday after Labor Day. Apparently, most vendors to not show up that day...it was about 80% empty. Even the vendors that were there were surprised how empty it was. I would maybe try again in the spring if we didn't live so far away.

My kids go here often, and thought I would check it out. It was ok. Lots of the same stuff by many vendors. Some of the country motif vendors inside the bars had some nice stuff. It's worth a stop once or twice.

Rice's Market is located in the countryside of New Hope amongst the large historic estates and farms. We stayed at the Greenhill Farm just a few fields down from the market. An open air flea market, you can find the perfect treasure for your trip. There is a very talented henna artist w great prices - see photo below. Paula... More

Rices is a great place to find some unique items especially for women. I've picked up clothing, handbags, grill matts, shovels, planting and antique bottles. You name it. Always take at least two hundred in cash to buy gifts and something for me! Head there in the morning and head out to New Hope for lunch.

A whole lot of junk. Old VCR's, CD's, toys, lamps, and all sorts of other junk is for sale. If you live locally there is locally grown produce, as well as pies, cakes, breads and such. Also, you can buy plants and shrubs. For us out-of-towners it was a waste of time. It only costs $1 though.

Returned to Rice's after many years. What once was a great spot for hunting vintage pieces is no more!! Was very disappointed with available vendors. If you need socks, sunglasses and wooden patio furniture, you will be in luck. Many vendors had boxes and boxes of Dolllar Store type products. Paying for admission to site made the experience ever more... More
