Always wanted to stop @1of the days this cool house was open but never got the chance. However as luck would have it, I finally got the chance during the Strawberry festival weekend. The tour is very interesting and informative. I learned alot about the residents & the surroundings. I also saw many items that my family owns & occasionally use. I truly recommend everyone to stop for a wonderful afternoon. My only word of caution is that the staircases are narrow so larger people be prepared for close places if they are claustrophobic.

My mom and I toured this house during the annual strawberry festival. The house was built in the mid 1800's and the walls and floors are the same construction as back then. The antiques from that era are spread throughout the house. The tour guides dress up like colonial people from the 1800's. There is even Abraham Lincoln walking the grounds on this tour. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about our country's history on this tour.
