The homemade seasonal treats are great and there are lots of other seasonal items to purchase at the store. Otherwise I wouldn't call Paulus' a "thing to do" unless you have small children for which they have a nice play area.

Such fun picking fresh flowers! Just good clean fun! Wear a sun hat and bring your cutters. They supply the container. Paulas' will also supply cutters if you forgot yours.

Every year our church youth group visits Paulus. We do the hayride, cornmaze, pick pumpkins, feed animals and play! The kids love it. We are looking forward to our return trip this October as well!

We went for the animals and the kid-friendly environment, and we left with some great, fresh produce & meats, and ever greater memories and family photos.

There are families out there with 3,4, or 5 children. Although it's not much, it's still prohibitive for many younger families just looking to educate their children. Why would you charge families to see your animals? Very chintzy to say the least. A smart business...More
