This is a review of the Boro of Lititz, the Town of Lititz, Lititz PA of which the park is merely a small and generally pleasant place within Lititz. Coming from New York City, I was introduced to Lititz as a child over 50 years ago. What a beautiful, enchanting place! 20 years later, I moved there with my family. My children attended Lititz El when it was a hundred-year-old kinda worn out school building, but we and every other family loved it. The aroma of chocolate hung heavy over the town from Wilbur Chocolate and on Main Street you could smell the Sturgis pretzels being baked. The General Sutter Inn was old but elegant and named for our most famous resident John Sutter before he became a non-person. I lived in Lititz for 20 years, most of the people really cared about the town and the traditions held dear for hundreds of years. I sat on the School Board and was a scout leader. The Lititz I knew and loved began to unravel when a fight broke out over who owned the Square, the Manger and the Christmas Tree. The factions were not able to resolve their differences which is why the Manger sits in the Square, where it justly deserves to be, but the Christmas Tree, now artificial, sits out of sight in the gazebo in the park. 15 years ago, when I left Lititz, you could see and feel the change accelerate and not all the change was positive. Compare the 2001 Lititz Watch Technicum to the 2014 Rock Lititz "cube". The changes have erased what Lititz was, replaced with a Disneyesque facade which looks like Lititz but is merely a shadow of what made it America's best small town.

Lititz Springs Park is a lovely island of tranquility in the middle of a beautiful and historic Lancaster Count town. From the spring that gives it it's name, through the stream running through it, to the quacking and contented ducks that swim on it - you will love this place. Great for a walk anytime of day - people are friendly, the park is clean and just a delight. Don't miss it!

Perfect gem. When the world is not enduring a pandemic, there are children's play area that are top-notch. Even when the world is upside down, there is a peace that restores your soul. Beware of the ducks. You should always bring duck food (not bread) as the hungry hoard will occasionally follow you like puppies if you don't have a suitable offering. Otherwise, you can breathe fresh air, admire the vistas from both high overlook path as well as the lower creek paths. Ancient springs still gurgle and a giant carved lion overlooks the tranquil park. When life is back to normal, it is the perfect place for kids of all ages. Hope you can get here soon.

Just traveled here with my wife for our 31st anniversary. This beautiful park is at the center of this beautiful town. You can walk up Broadstreet from this park for shops, antiques, come back to the park and walk up Main Street for more shops and antiques. You can eat lunch in the park, has flowing water through it. A beautiful way to spend the weekend.

Had the chance take a stroll and it was magical. Cold winter night and silence all around. Very peaceful and somber feeling, almost like we were in our own space and time. Wish we could of walked it all but got a bit to frosty.

Visit the park. Spend time feeding the ducks. There were hundreds of ducks in mid-February on the day that we visited. The paths are well-maintained. The park is centrally located to the visitor’s center, restaurants, stores, and more.

Beautiful small. park in the heart of Lititz PA. Very clean and well maintained. Observed a number of families enjoying the park. There are a number of activities scheduled in the park during the year. We were there on a Thursday evening in the Summer when there is a farmers' market.

Great meeting place, parking, ducks, and clean restrooms. After a long ride, I was concerned about the availability of restrooms. It is much appreciated that this beautiful park has them. The caboose was fantastic, with an engaging guide who made us feel welcomed!

Lovely place to stroll or sit and watch the ducks (DON'T feed them bread; seed or corn is fine). Interesting railroad history in the little caboose museum. Various historical markers.

We grabbed lunch to go at the excellent Tied House a block away, end enjoyed using one of the Park picnic tables to eat. Everything was refreshingly clean, and it was fun to watch kids in the park interact with all the ducks. Nice, safe, relaxing experience.
