I enjoy visit church sites. Although it does not compare with the site in Bethlehem (PA), it is still a nice place to visit.

We started with a short tour at the Archive Museum, Church and Gift Shop. Interesting stories as well as archives that made this an interesting tour. Men and woman sat separately in church; but had ways to know if women were married by the color...More

The town of Lititz was founded by the Moravians. Its entire history begins at Moravian Square. From the beautiful white church to the cemetery that dates back over two centuries. If you're luck, you'll hear the trombone choir, or get some yummy monkey bread! The...More

I was not aware until this visit to Lancaster how significant the Moravians were to this area. Apparently at one time only Moravians could live in Lititz.

Having learned about the history of the Moravian community and about the various buildings that are part of the church complex, looking in at them --and going into the church-- was very interesting. It is an idyllic spot that is still being used, cared for...More

Not only a simple and lovely church, the surrounding grounds are worth a walk around. There are informative signs and nice pathways. Navigate to the Historical Foundation for wonderful information on these buildings and the history of the community.

The Moravian Church is the reason that Lititz exists as it does. Look it up! My great grandfather assisted in the building of the Sunday School building and a grand piece of furniture is dedicated to him. This complex is absolutely breathtaking and is so...More

The Moravia Church dates back to the dawn of Lititz. The local Founding Fathers were all Moravians. The architecture of the old church is quite lovely. If you love history and the quaint feel of a small town you should visit.
