What a unique experience being there in a real coal mine. The tour was so informative, educational and exciting, everyone in our group loved it. Our guide Larry was very experienced and interactive. I strongly recommend this if you are in the area.

The visit in the preserved mine and the excellent guides allowed us and the kids to go back in time and get some idea on the challenging life the miners had only 50 years ago. Since then, I must say that they value their lifestyle...More

Is it suitable for pregnant woman? I saw the comments "damp, wet inside, and bumpy ride, etc". I called the company but no one picked up. Will try again. Anyone can give me a better idea? Thank you!

Depending on how far along you are, getting into the car may be tricky. The roughness of ride was minor, definitely damp.
