We went with this particular tour, because it not only gave us a tour of the Amish countryside and a history of the Amish people, but it also included a tour of an Amish home and farm which also included a lot of information on the Amish lifestyle. Time and money well spent if this type of thing interests you.

This is the first time a Trip Advisor has let me down. The farm does not give insights into Amish life. It reminded me more of a petting zoo. The house tour was interesting, but the guide rambled, I was afraid I was missing out on a great deal of her knowledge. The bus tour provided the most information, and... More

We booked the 90 minute bus tour online and it was a very good choice. The facility is tucked in next to the Target store, the buses parked along Route 30 are your visual clue to turn. We walked thru the gift shop prior to the tour and didn't do the farm outside due to the heat. Staff was very... More

Visited with 8 ladies and enjoyed the house tour, farm tour, and especially the 90 minute bus tour! Friendly, knowledgeable staff warmly welcomed us and patiently answered questions. Miss Kitty even had some surprises waiting for us on the tour! Don't miss the Scooter Run on the farm - meant for kids but adults love it too! Would gladly recommend... More

We are so very happy that you took the time to describe your authentic experience, despite the Target next door....hopefully people who read your review won't let that (the store next door) influence their decision to come visit us. Thank you for mentioning your guide by name and for visiting us! Have a great summer:) More

If you have kids, they will enjoy the outdoor part where you go at your own pace visiting the various farm buildings and playground. The inside house tour is good for adults and older children (about 40 minutes long) but small children may find it too long. It's fine though because you can leave a little early if you need... The farm and house is so informational, we have 5 children under 9yrs old and each child was able to try out an amish scooter, sit in a school house and look at the books, and even buy some amish bake goods. In the home we learned what the amish wore, women of all ages wear there clothes a bit... More

Amish peope get all weird when you go to their house, take their pictures and ask them lots of questions. Here they give a wonderful and comprehensive tour of an Amish house. We saw a real farmhouse, schoolhouse, and even some carpentry. We had a guided tour from Kamie and she was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was even able... More

There were 8 of us who visited the Amish Farm and House, 3 adults and 5 children aged 12, 10, 6, 5 & 2. We had tickets to go on the House Tour. If you have young children 5 and under, I would not recommend going on the tour and honestly I don't recommend anyone pay to go on the... More
