We did the house and farm tour which I highly recommend should you want to know more about the Amish people. Our tour for the house was very informative and personable. After the tour we toured the farm area which was interesting, as well. They have Amish scooters which you can ride on a short path which was fun. In... More

We participated in the premium package of Tours. The countryside bus tour was amazing. Very informative and the tour guide provided an opportunity to buy authentic Amish crafts and food. The house tour although informative , they booked too many people. I believe it was over 30 people and one tour guide. Rooms were very very crowded and not enough... More

The Amish Farm and House was a great experience. A good stop for families. Kids will especially enjoy the farm. I enjoyed learning about the house and the way the Amish lived. The farm was great. While it is no longer a working farm, there were live animals on site. The out buildings such as the milk house, tobacco barn... More

Arnie was a great tour guide. It was interesting to go through the home and farm and hear the history of how and when the Armish came to PA.

We were not reluctant to visit an Amish community because we always want to see how the Amish still live their daily lives without modern technologies. Not even electricity, all kinds of motor vehicles, phones and cellular phones. We were later told that usually the Amish never leave their community! We spent more than half a day in Amish community... More

Did the house tour and grounds. Guides were very knowledgeable about the Amish and Mennonite origins and way of life. The inside gift shop was a bit pricey but had some very unique gifts and a great book selection (using the recommendations from the knowledgeable staff). Every staff member was polite and smiling. Recommend the experience!

My two grandsons (9 and 12) and I spent a pleasant day here learning about the Amish way of life. I would recommend the tour bus, which takes you for quite a drive through the countryside. The boys really enjoyed the self-guided farm tour, especially being able to try out the Amish scooters. The guided house tour is very informative,... More

We visit Lancaster several times a year, and feel that we are pretty knowledgeable about the Amish culture. We had out of state visitors so we took them on this tour and we all loved it. It took us on side roads that we had never been on before, and we stopped at two Amish farms that had stores filled... More

We had some free time so we thought we stop here with our grandchildren to spend the afternoon. It was a great stop. A lot of interesting history about the Amish and their customs, as well as, the house tour and farm facilities.
