We had a friend's birthday here with eight ladies and the staff took forever to help get us settled and on to our tastings. I would recommend somewhere else to folks...this was not the place.

On a whim we decided to drive over to this winery. We were quite surprised that all of the 4 wines we had at the tasting, 2 chardonnays, a rose and a gruner veltliner were all very good. All were pleasantly dry. Our server, Miles...More

We were warmly greeted by our server Hillary. She went on with the history of the winery, the wines and the building. My wife went with mostly whites and my flight was exclusively Red’s. Not a huge fan of east coast reds, but enjoyed the...More

The only reason I didn't give Galer Estate and excellent rating is that the red wine I sampled was not as good as the whites and one of the platters seemed overpriced. Still, it's an outstanding winery. My wife and I were looking for a...More

This was my first visit to the lovely Galer winery and it won't be my last. The setting alongside Longwood Gardens is glorious. Coupled with great, naturally-harmonious construction, the surroundings are picture-perfect. The wines didn't do much for me, though the red was acceptable and...More

We visited this vineyard on a rainy Saturday and were welcomed at the door when we arrived. The setting is fantastic. Things started to turn when one of the menus we were handed was empty. We decided on a tasting and asked for a cheese...More

We were very impressed as we arrived. There is an indoor tasting room and a large outdoor patio overlooking the vines where you can sit and enjoy a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we did not like any of the wine we tried.

This place was great. The wine was pretty good. Only saying it that way considering I prefer reds and there was only one red wine, but it was a good one! The staff was very friendly and this place is able to accommodate many people...More

If you prefer sweet wines you may want to try another winery. I believe there was 1 or 2 that may have been on the sweet side, but they were not sweet enough for my hubby and still dry. Wines were good, beautiful scenery... More
