If you're at all interested in history and you've never been on a the tour you'll want to see it. Our guide was new on the job and it showed. Still worth the admission price, $7 adults, $6 for seniors 65+. Kids would enjoy it...More

Very interesting. A must see while in Jim Thorpe. The guide was informative and brought the jail to life. Loved the story of the hand print on the wall.

This jail was still in operation up to the 1990's. Tours given, well done, and explained. Has a small gift shop. Tickets $7 for adults.

Tours take about 45 minutes with a new tour beginning every 20 minutes. We have found that some visitors want more information than can be provided on the tour, and some visitors want to learn a little and leave for a stop at a gift...More

99tigers and Barbara A answered your question about the hours.. I will tell you that it is worth visiting. The hanging took place inside so you will have to wait until it opens to see it.
