Train-Biked the Lehigh Gorge today. Sunny enough. Warm enough. Dry enough. Enjoyed enough. Had enough. Bike 25 miles from White Haven to Jim Thorpe after enjoying a comfortable train ride.

Excellent. Worth the trip and experience. Well maintained trail. Lots of spots to pull off the trail and enjoy a bite to eat and relax.

Came on a Saturday, during leaf peeping season, and had no problems checking in(White Haven to Jim Thorpe). Yes, the bus ride was a bit long but well worth the scenery once you are on your bike.

First I want to clarify the rating is for the Pocono Biking company, not the actual Lehigh Gorge Trail. My boyfriend & I would not recommend the trail; we did not think the ride/trail was very scenic and frankly after a while got boring. But...More

We stayed at Hill Home Forge B&B. It is just outside of town, two miles from the municipal parking lot, trail access, bike rental and shuttle.
