Like so many other classic summer holiday route stops 'The Honey Place' (or the Big Beehive as we have always called it) has been bypassed, meaning that unless you know it's there you would probably miss it. I think the best way to describe the...More

We took the family to The Honey Place while on holidays in Coffs Harbour. This is a quirky tourist attraction that seems to be run as a family affair, which offers a nice change from corporate theme parks. It is a small venue (shop, beehive...More

We always go by this place once a year and stock up for us as well as family and friends. Love to see these small businesses surviving.

Free entry and really enjoyed the free tasting of many different varieties of honey. It is better value to bring your own container if you are buying honey than one of their pre-packaged ones. Affordable refreshments and great scones.

What a quirky building! If you like all things honey then this is your place! We enjoyed the video and seeing bees in the environment including native bees. Afterwards we all partook of honey ice cream. Yum!

You may need to give them a call directly to find out their opening times over the Christmas and new year period. Hope this helps.
