I highly recommend this on the central coast, it’s a great experience for kids and families. Get there early so you can get a good seat on the lower step and kids may get the opportunity to feed the pelican themselves.

The pelicans walk around amongst all the people watching, while waiting for the feeding to start. The feeding is done by volunteers, who collect donations to buy the food. It is very interesting to see.

Amazing! This is a must do. I thought it would be very average but totally amazing. Get up & close with Australia’s largest water bird. The presenter was a wealth of information, so not only was it super cool but really educational. 10/10.
