Was never the worlds largest sundial. The worlds largest sundial was built in India, stands 27 metres tall and has been there since the 1700’s. Singleton has been living a lie. I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed.

It's easy to find, as it is a very tall structure situated at the end of town. There is an information plaque close by about how it all works. Great photo opportunity, one of those big things in Australia. Been there seen that.

Really liked this one. Very simple but very accurate timepiece. If you're travelling with kids, get them to try to tell the time. Opportunity to get some good pics.

It's certainly a feature: a huge concrete sundial. I walked over to look at it and was underwhelmed to be fair. Personally, I don't think a concrete sundial is a bad idea, but a bit of texture or some designs on it would have improved...More

This is an interesting place to visit that is also educational in that it shows how you can tell time by the position of the sun. Great for the kids. Short stop to visit but worthwhile.

The Sundial is next to a nice park, a decent shopping mall and a fitness gym. It is THE sundial and that's what it is. If you set your expectation right, you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect anything fancy.
