We came to see the Roos on the beach which was great fun an£ you can get really close to them but it was possibly too cold to see the goannas. Go via the Mount Agony road rather than Pebbly Beach Road because that one...More

Beautiful beach adjacent to dense bushland. Camping spots well organised. Unfortunately modern times have decreed paid parking at the actual beach so for $8 a day minimum you can take a walk/picnic/sunbake on the beach. I think I miss the good old days ;)

Definitely a magical moment but not sure how "wild" they are. It seemed every home in the area had a few pet kangaroos in the front garden - an amazing sight. It's a long drive from from any major city - close to 5 hours...More

This was by far the most magical moment we experienced in Australia, though part of the magic was that we did not know that wild kangaroos lived near the beach, so we were amazed when they were there. You have to drive off the main...More

The roos will accept food from you, but it is highly advisable not to encourage them (as with all other wildlife).
