Discover our permaculture paradise and eco-sanctuary, just 700m from Nimbin's main street. Djanbung Gardens features edible plants from around the world, gardens, food forests, dams and ponds, farm animals, alternative building, bamboo, forest and abundant wildlife. Kiddies playground. Books, garden charts and home-made gourmet conserves for sale. Explore with our self-guide tour map Wed-Sun 10-4 ($2/p) or join the 1.5hr Full Farm Guided tour with a qualified permaculturist every Sat 11am ($20/$15). Special group tours by appt. Abundance Cafe open weekends Sat-Sun 10-5 for a farm-fresh local food lunch and refreshments. Djanbung Gardens is home campus of Permaculture College Australia - check out our courses and workshops. No dogs please - we value our wildlife. We are closed from 22 Dec to Jan 2.

We did a day trip from Byron to Nimbin and had an hour to spare and thought we would walk to the permaculture gardens. It's a short 15 minute walk from town and the gardens have their own cafe with the philosophy that everything served...More

Done a few courses there which turned out to e more helpfull than i thought. I'm not an expert now but my vegie garden produces at least 25% more
