Lovely look out spot for viewing lots of whales in the bay. You have to pay to park & it’s worth parking a bit further down than at the lighthouse as it was very busy and no where to turn, so worth walking for a few minutes to the lighthouse viewpoint. Take your binoculars as it’s likely you will see whales if it’s the right time of year.

Great view and nice walk. It has well set out steps and a nicely set out lookout. The views are lovely both North and South, and on the day we were there, birds diving into the water to catch fish. Nice stop.

When visiting Lennox Head recently, we drove up to the Pat Morton Lookout. There is plenty of parking available and on the day we were there, some hang gliders were waiting for the right breeze. It is an easy walk up the hill to the lookout, so you can see the outlook towards Lennox Head and the surrounding landscape. It is worth the visit.

Walked up here multiple times from Lennox town with kids and friends. The walk requires mild exertion, the views lovely. We observed multiple frolicking humpback whales, dolphins, surfers, bush turkeys, hang gliders, para gliders, and one inflatable lilo surfer. More than once we enjoyed rear-bumper and picnic guitar and song, and dog pats of many good boys and girls. There is a public toilet and drink fountain which are amenities frequently used by walking families.

Pat Morton lookout gives a splendid, almost 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. It was an easy walk from the carpark climbing on well-built stairway to the upper plateau from where the views opened out. The wooden stairway provided quite easy access and the meadow like area on top of the cliff was fantastic for picnics. I was able to see the Skennars beach and Boulders beach on one direction and 7 mile beach on the other beautifully.

You can either drive up or walk along the board walk from the beach.
The board walk is pleasant and goes past boulder Beach. It is obviously uphill but not too strenuous.
There is a nice grassy area and a few seats. The steps dont lead to a look out but another path to the other side of the hill.
Go on a windy day to see the para gilding

Visited on Tuesday 22nd June. It was very busy when we visited and after checking out the beach view you can see why.
