This museum has one of the best collections of local area memorobilia that i have seen jam packed with artifacts, photos and thongs such as a bush cabin outside worth a couple of hours

It was a quite interesting place with amazing collections. It was a short visit on the way to Wangaratta, but it was well worth stopping by.

A very big museum over two floors. Fantastic old 'stuff'. Right in the middle of town and well worth a visit.

Looks nothing from outside, however once you enter paying a very low admittance fee you are surrounded with relics from the past. loads to look at, also many publications that you can read. i could have spent all day here

A great little museum without the high tech gizmos. Helpful volunteer staff and lots to see and read.

Overstuffed with the social history of the Gundagai region. A fair bit of dross but some real gems. If you are a reader, you could easily spend a large part of the day here. Needs much bigger premises and, perhaps, a grant for a curator...More

This is sort of like a collection of all the locals unwanted stuff with some good items in here. However it is well worth the walk around to look at items and remember what life was like 50-70 years ago. They have everything from old...More

Two places in Gundagai, with amazing photos and artefacts of the past. Would not have missed either. Can't recall name of other location on first floor in main street (ask information centre). This Museum has very interesting and extensive exhibition.
