This bridge is just amazing. Whilst over the many years of visiting it has become unsafe to walk on it still is a beautiful site to see. Many place around the bridge to take advantage of a photo.

Love the sense of history here.i remember coming over this bridge as a child. A great place to walk on a fine morning.

We parked the car in Sheridan Street, near the war memorial roundabout. There is a sign here, with information about the bridges. From here, you can take the steps down to view the bridge from underneath too. Great photo stop. We then drove to Oibell...More

So that's how they build brides when wood was the material of choice. This is pretty cool, and perfectly preserved. You ought to take a look.

An amazing old bridge. Certainly worth a look. Hopefully someday they can have the historic bridges of Gundagai restored so that they can be preserved for generations to come.

worth a look, doesnt take much time and the history is facinating. It is closed off for walking on as it is too unstable at present
