We found these caves by accident as they are not really advertised and how glad we were that we did. What a great spot to visit. These caves were used by the Aborigines. We had a great experience wandering through this special spot. The colours...More

This is not sign posted as sandstone caves. Turn off the newell highway at Taminba trail. The rocks are a short walk from the carpark. Take your camera. The shapes and colours of the rocks are awesome.

These Caves were surprisingly beautiful. I didn’t expect them to be so spectacular. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

There was a stunning photo at every turn. The colours and the weathering were just beautiful. Definitely, worth checking out. A very spiritual place - thank you to the local indigenous people for sharing this beautiful place. However, I was very disappointed to see parents...More

This is a great walk with young children. The walk itself is brief, the views are amazing and the caves keep the kids interested.

This place is not signed off the Newell Highway for cultural reasons. If you put Yaminba Trail in your sat nav it should help you locate the entry track. It’s a short dirt road and when I went along it the track was fine for...More

The caves are off the highway down a dirt road. Parking available and a sign pointing us to the caves. It’s a round trip of about an hour. Stunning bush on the way and the caves amazing!

Unique caves which have been used for thousands of years. A little out of the way, and hard to find (lacking signage) but certainly worth the effort. I am a little surprised by the lack of art in the caves. Thank you to the custodians...More

If your talking about a caravan then it should be ok. It does have a slight turn to go in the gates but relatively straight after that. Road is dirt and a little bumpy. Is a large area at the end to park and turn.

The Sandstone caves are not far north.land not far off the main road. It’s easy to miss the sign. I suggest you ask in the Visitors Centre. It is not widely broadcast because it is deemed a sacred site. It is worth a visit.
