Walking the Lighthouse Trail loop is always a highlight of any trip to Byron for me. What can be better than spending time outside taking in beautiful views of bush, headland and ocean? Let the wind mess up your hair!

Great walk for some fresh air and a little exercise, not too exhausting. Spectacular view! Easy enough to bring children. A good café for a little rest and treat when reaching the light house.

A must do in Byron bay. You can drive to the top, but do yourself a favour and walk the loop, it's incredibly beautiful and free!

Dogs are not allowed as it is a National Park where dogs are prohibited
