Beautiful walk

Don't waste your time. Get on your feet and do this walk. Great views. With some luck you can spot Wallabies. From May to November the best place for whale watching.

Don't rush your visit to the lighthouse. If you can get on one of the volunteer organised tours to the top of the lighthouse, there is no better place to take in the views. The tours are free but a donation is welcomed. Back at ground level, the Lighthouse Trail is well signposted. We were there during a heat wave,... More

Recommended by a friend to do the walk to the lighthouse. The morning was perfect, sunshine and the view at the top was amazing. So peaceful, lots of walkers, joggers. Recommend early morning best time.

This is a great walk with beautiful scenery all the up, need to be a little fit to do this if starting from the main area of town. Well worth the views.

The walk up to The lighthouse is wonderful. The scenery is spectacular and during the whale season you can spot many whales and dolphins. A must to do when visiting Byron Bay. There is a coffee shop at the top so you can rest and get refreshments.

Great views a definite must do but wear covered shoes ! Take the walking track but half of it is sand and myself as well as 50% of people on the track had sandles so unless you mind sand in your shoes , sneakers are better. Take water because it's a decent walk to the first cafe.
