Was very interesting to learn the history of the interment of the Germans living in Berrima. The walk along the river was lovely we saw a platypus.

We did this walk recently with our baby (in a carrier) and friends who had young children. Its a lovely walk and not overly taxing but the kids seemed more interested in the bush (and the creatures living in it) than staying on track!

Nice short, scenic and relaxing walk. A good way to stretch your legs while touring and sight seeing all day.

Prisoner of war camp during World War I (1915-1919). The work starts at the campground and has excellent signage. There are remains (foundations) of some huts a period photos showing the proud owners! A Definite recommendation 1962oos

A lovely new thing to do in Berrima. We went to the museum first and got some background to the German internment camp in WW 1 and that helped to understand the significance of this area. The signs with photos also helped to try to...More

We had a great time on this walk. The scenery was lovely and the interpretive signs were excellent. Every sign was interesting and included photos of what the spot looked like during the German internment. We would highly recommend this walk.
