The lizard is a wonderful, wild, remote area , it takes a long time to get here, even for those who live in Kernow , but it merits the effort. It is the most Southern place in the UK, and the scenery is spectacular

Quiet a walk down the cliffs to reach the beach but worth the walk. Views from the top are beautiful, a great place for ramblers.

THe Lizard peninsula is a must walk must see area. I would say the same of Kynance Cove, but it is Spoilt by a cafe full of lard munchers. It can be a bit over crowded, but is still worth a day visit. I would...More

The village and lizard point are a far nicer attraction than the tacky affair at lands end and offer up great views and lots of wildlife. Kynance cove is busy but the car parking is ample, the cafe pleasant and the beach is extremely beautiful....More

There are few sights to rival Kynance Cove in the UK or elsewhere. Parking in the National Trust car park where the charge helps with the upkeep of this breathtaking spot (so don't be a charge dodger!), only a few steps towards the cliff edge...More

A spectacular cove to visit. NT car park so great if you're a member as it's free, otherwise you have to pay. A bit of an walk down to beach area so not so good if you need level access. Rocky and very uneven underfoot...More

Absolutely stunning views and a wonderful day out. Be aware there is a fairly long walk from the car park to Kynance Cove but it is totally worth it! There is a cafe on the beach that offers everything you will need during your visit....More

Lovely beach with a great cafe but both get busy when it's sunny. Which is fine if the tide is out, less so when it is in; there is nothing but stones. That said the cliffs are beautiful and it is still worth a visit....More

There are lots of beaches where you can take your dog during certain hours, mostly mornings and evenings some have designated dog areas all day. I have seen dogs at Kynance and there is a manned car park where they will... More

We went i between Christmas and new year and the cafe was closed. There wasn't a sign anywhere giving the opening times so I don't know if they have seasonal opening times. Sorry couldn't be more help.
