On the Tuesday after Easter six of us went out with Tom from Koru Kayaking from St Agnes Beach for a two hour kayaking trip. I would really recommend doing this trip even outside of summer as long as the sea is calm. It was really fun and exciting! In our group the youngest was 11 years old and oldest... More

Hetty from Koru Kayaking took myself and two other travel bloggers on a tour from Budock Vean to Frenchman's Creek. She was super knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of interesting historical facts along the way! It was pretty windy but once we got over to Frenchman's Creek it was tranquil and magic! This has been on my... More

Having too much of a good time. Right from the start, the warm welcome from Hettie and the quick and simple safety briefing got the trip off to an efficient start. Our visit was with the kids -9 and 13 as part of a weeks holiday in St Agnes. The Kayaks are really easy to get in and out of... More

Took the French Creek trip as the north coast was not playing nice. Never been kayaking before, now want to buy a couple of boats it was that good. Tim was our guide and the guy is a legend, loved the fun history and informative chat with him. Two bits of advice though, if your coming from St Ives or... More

Took the Frenchmans Creek tour, guided by Tom on a clear sunny Sunday morning. Time on the water was an easy relaxed affair ... Tom was very knowledgeable and provided excellent commentary on the wildlife and plenty of interesting historical facts about the creek. Sadly the weather wouldn't co-operate on the North coast or we would have done the tour... More

Were staying at the Budock Vean on the Helford river and organised this trip with Koru as they have a base right on the beach there. Daisy, our guide, was excellent - really lovely, friendly and informative. After an induction we had a couple of hours out on the creek including a little beach stop. They took plenty of photos... Headed out on a sunny morning for the Poldark Country Kayak tour. We had so much fun, we saw a seal and some birds and had loads of fun going through the caves. You get to see parts of Cornwall that you can't see by land and away from all the tourists which is really nice. Felt very safe with... More

Our trip was cancelled due to bad weather. Koru were excellent at letting us know well in advance, looking for alternatives that fitted in with our holiday plans and then, when it did not work out, making a prompt refund. So although I cannot comment on the quality of the paddling trip we certainly had a very professional service.

We set off on a hot morning and the sea was calm and beautiful! Our guides where fantastic giving us the history of the rocks and mines. We stopped twice to explore and one mine was like a rainbow of colour in the rocks, just stunning! The seals came out to visit us and we where propelled through the rock... More
