The town is surprisingly quaint with a range of independent shops. The riverside is quite and the Tudor bridge is excellent and worth a quick visit.

The river area round the bridge is very attractive. Local children enjoy wading in the shallow river and there are picnic benches. Difficult parking especially at weekends. Worth going to Lostwithiel by train, station very close to the bridge.

Had the pleasure of doing a local history tour with a lovely lady called Kitty. Her knowledge was tremendous. This bridge was really beautiful in construction and was a major part of the towns history

Nice little bridge with history well explained on the sign. Had a wee show as 2 girls went for a swim in the river and had a swing on the rope.
