Great short walk along the riverbank if you have a dog even better just beware the the footpath gets more difficult the closer you get to the falls and can be quite treacherous in places! On the way back stop in the car park for a drink and a bite have only heard good things about the cafe

We were looking for something local to do and decided to go here im glad we did . Although not the most exciting place its great for a country walk or dog walking. Walking boots are needed as some places are steep and muddy the falls are not what you expect but lovely to look at . After a walk... More

If you want to pass a few hours away, have a walk through the woods and along the Goliath falls on the river fowey. It's a lovely peaceful walk, and also you can get a nice cup of tea or a snack from the cafe.

Tranquil, scenic walk along the river through the woods. The tree roots merging through the paths.(disabled or pushchairs would be a problem) need to have well behaved pets or children.

Great spot for photography in all seasons but particularly Autumn. The track to the falls is wheelchair friendly part of theway along the river Fal but stops brfore you get to the falls proper. To get to the best part you need to travel muddy paths and clamber over rocks, but its well worth it for the more hardy

We love walking, and there is a somewhat timeless feel to these woods. Great canopy if raining, dog-friendly and well visited by the locals

This is a great location and lovely walk with the dogs by an immaculate clear clean river. The bonus is in the car park is a superb smokehouse caravan, "Inkies" see other reviews (not Mon or Tues) who do superb food and drinks. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Spent a couple of hours at this lovely woodland setting. The twists and turns of the river and gentle falls make for some great photo opportunities? Definitely worth a visit what ever the time of year. The falls benefit by having parking, toilets also a food outlet called Inkies who specialise in smoked bbq foods. We had some lovely hot... More

Very well, but tastefully signed, a visit for an hour or so allows a pleasant stroll downstream (and back), a change of scene if 'exploring' the moor
