A delightful amble

Very well, but tastefully signed, a visit for an hour or so allows a pleasant stroll downstream (and back), a change of scene if 'exploring' the moor

Beautiful scenery with uneven terrain and no toilets. Very relaxing though. If you go once, you'll have to go again.

This was the first time I visited Golitha Falls, it is quite a walk in which is covered with trees. You need sensible foot wear as you walk over the exposed tree roots. The falls itself are very small but I think it is worth looking at the exposed tree roots and I felt magical here and could see the... More

Stunning scenery, plenty of free parking (we bought hot chocolates from the 'cafe' as it advised that people who park in the car park frequent this local business - and lovely hot chocs they were too!) and toilets on site. The walk was beautiful and allowed you to get down to the water at various points. My children were fascinated... More

Beautiful location with stunning scenery. We visited during half term the day after we had visited St Nectans Glen and Golitha Falls was a much better experience. Definitely recommend a visit here, wear wellies or walking boots. Even if you don't quite get to the end and see the falls (as it is quite a tricky route requiring some climbing... More

Great walk. Lovely fungi and autumn colours. In parts the walk is tricky not for those with walking difficulties. The cafe in her car park has some great home made cakes, pumpkin pie was excellent.

Made our way along the track which was very waterlogged only to find that the falls were really only a small rapid. Have seen other waterways that are more deserving of the name falls. The drop in this was probably about a metre over a length of three or four metres. Disappointing - imagine it would be a nice walk... More

We visited the Falls on the way back to the car after a 6mile walk so we didn't spend that long exploring as it was starting to get dark. The car park nearby is free and fairly large with a BBQ shack onsite and free toilets too. There is a signboard which tells you about the area and the paths... More
