I hadn't heard of this estate but our landlady was a gardener and recommended it. The Other Half and I had quite the argument getting there; let's just say we blamed the Sat Nav. Finding it was worth it,though. The estate includes a large manor...More

This was a lovely garden with friendly staff. Friends who live locally hadn’t heard of it but they definitely need to visit. An honesty box at the tea house was a surprise and was not abused. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Stumbled across this delightful gardens on a Wednesday afternoon. Completely relaxed atmosphere including serve-yourself tea and cakes. The gardener was very helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful planting and some unusual roses. A real gem.

Entrance to the garden costs £8 for adults. That is quite a lot. Maybe that’s why we had the whole garden to ourselves the afternoon we visited, making it very quiet and all the more enjoyable.
