A nice walk along the cliffs, not great for buggies. You can usual see some seals resting in one of the bays and you get a good view of the light house. There is access to the beach from the car park as well. Car park is pay and display but free for national trust members.

Wonderful place to just sit down, relax, switch off and let the world pass by. Peaceful and unspoiled. One of my top 5 location in the world.

Tip - make sure that you use the NT car parks as there can be signs up before the entrance guiding you to a car park that is more expensive. There are actually 2 NT car parks, one by the building near the entrance and one further up on the hill. They lead to different areas of the beach and... More

If you just fancy a nice relaxing walk away from all the traffic etc this is a good choice amongst the many other walks in the surrounding area.

Parking is close by as is a great cafe/ bar - The Rockpool plus an RNLI lookout and 3 lifeguards on duty. The waves looked amazing for bodyboarding, surfing or swimming. The SW coastal path is of course bordering the beach.

A lovely coastal walks area, nice views, crystal clear waters. When arrived the sign was outside to say car park was full, but this was corrected by the staff soon after. Only complaint, the wooden posts at the side of the car park are too low, as we drove into them :)

A stunning stretch of coastline with Mutton Cove just a short walk away, well worth it to see the seals relaxing on the sand. The main beach is long, mostly sandy and popular with surfers. It is dog friendly 1st October to Easter weekend which was perfect for a half term visit. Parking is quite expensive £5, however there is... More

Stopped on a Wednesday morning for a romantic stroll along the beach. The water was amazing, so clear and the color was so aqua green that you would have thought it was a tropical beach! Lots of people walking their dogs. It was low tide and the rocks were covered with mussels, it was incredible! Highly recommend.
