Our course is set in beautiful Cornish countryside just a couple of miles from Hayle. Our course is an 9 hole short course over 10 acres. Tim and Annette will be happy to make your day an unforgettable experience. Tap in the postcode to bring you to...more
Went with my young son who's a complete beginner. We had a fun couple of hours, the course being challenging enough to keep him interested but not so much that he got bored. It was great for me to practice my chipping and putting too....More

So nice to hear, we will look forward to seeing you again soon
We’ve just taken up golf and fancied a practice. The course was great fun and quite challenging so we were glad of the balls we were given. Very friendly lady and very good value at £5 and a second round of nine for £2.50. The...More

Thanks, glad to hear you enjoyed your experience. We would love the greens to be more golf club standard but the greens at a pitch and putt have to be a lot tougher to stand up to the job
We were the only people on the course when we arrived and throughout our 9 holes. The course was okay though the bunkers needed a lot of imagination. Wondered why the rake was in one when there was hardly any sand, only vegetation.

Sorry you felt the way you did, the new website does say that it is only nine holes now. I would have thought it was quite good to be the only ones on the course as so many pitch & puts are too crowded. We...More
Really sorry to be the first to post a negative review, but I visited this week with my two teenage children & the course was very wet & boggy.
The ball was caked in mud each time it landed.
Furthermore, the course is now just...More

Really sorry to hear of the difficult times you experienced on our course. We have tried to let people know that the course is not good at the moment due to the unusual amount of rain that the county has had to put up with....More
I visited here with my wife and two teenage daughters and surprisingly they were both up for a round of golf. It took us about 3 hours to do the 18 holes. It's a lovely little course with some nice views. It's perfect for beginners...More

Thanks Chris, glad your family and the dog enjoyed our course
Found this course on trip advisor, wanted somewhere not too strict, where non players could learn, where the cost wasn't prohibitive, well here it is, fantastic little course, 18 holes, so 3 hours of golf, holes range from 47 yards to the challenging 18th of...More

Thank you for the lovely review, we are so pleased that you liked our little gem of a course
I love visiting Gwinear Pitch and Putt. They are super friendly and I enjoy playing a bit of golf and enjoying some food in the cafe (great vegan options is a bonus!) Highly recommend for a fun day out.
Really enjoyed this.
Well maintained little course and a few of the holes are pretty challenging, especially if your golf is as bad as ours!!
Friendly reception, when we arrived and we were duely issued with a bag of clubs and several balls, lucky as...More
The highlight of our weekend in Cornwall was our visit to Gwinear Pitch & Putt. The golf was good fun but the service and menu at the café was what really got my partner and me… Not only were Annette and Tim so helpful and...More

Very kind of you both to take time to say about your recent visit.
I've been coming here for years and I have worked on the course myself. It has improved massively not just the course but the club's restaurant and food in general. It's a real treat for anyone practicing their short game. Good day out I recommend...More
