Great beach & clean, very tidal. When the sand is wet, it needs care & attention when treading. Beautiful cliff walk, approachable when the tide is out. Ideal for dog walkers, all year round.

Lovely long sandy beach, dog friendly. Be careful of riptides, and the dunes, but beautiful to walk along. Car park is National Trust, free to members. Very narrow road to car park through the beautiful village of Crantock with thatched cottages. Toilets in car park.

This is possibly the best beach in the general area, even better than Holywell beach where we stayed. It is great for dogs and quite flat with a river running by the side. I has a National Trust carpark which is free to members.

I’ve normally taken my dogs on the west pentire beach at crantock via the Bowgie inn , found it to be less crowded ideal for taking my dogs on. Dog owners that are responsible and remove any dog mess will ensure the beach... More
