Been to Paris rugby sevens last week and New Zealand before. Normally a great atmosphere and party. However, twickenham was a damp squib with a rubbish enthusiasm for this competition and they closed all bars and food with 2 hrs to go. Despite England playing last. Think I'll pay the same respect by not being bothered enough to turn up... More

As always a fantastic event for a fantastic reunion...sorry rugby game! It brings a tear to your eye to fill twickers with 85,000 serving and ex-serving servicemen and women singing the national anthem to the band of the HM Royal Marines...and then take the Mick out of each other for the rest of the day!!

Think that says it all. Just glad we didn't have to clean up. The queues went down quick so didn't have to hang around. It was also easy to find our seats.

Went to Twickenham to watch my first ever rugby game and had the best time, busy but well organised, drinks expensive but totally expected and toilets busy but nothing as horrendous as I thought they might be! Great atmosphere, the worst bit was the packed train there and back.

Attended the Army v Navy annual rugby match and took sandwiches, knowing how expensive the food stalls are at Twickers. But - I left them on the bus (doh !) So, I grudgingly paid a lot of money for pasty and horrible chips. That will teach me to be forgetful.

Went to the home of rugby to watch the army navy game. Was a blinding game. Unfortunately the Army won. Which was not the result I was after. but the thing that was worst was the fact that so many of the bars were closed. 80,000 odd army and navy rugby fans wanna drink. so to have all the bars...
