The volunteers in the priory were so helpful and friendly. We were rather taken with the fact that they even welcomed dogs. Apparently they have a special doggy Christmas service called “Bark the Herald Angels Sing”. 😃Both ladies were informative about the Priory and clearly...More

I have been to Bridlington hundreds of times but had never been up to the old town and the church till this time. The church is really nice and very welcoming and the green and shops were a nice surprise too.

We arrived 12.10 on a Saturday - All locked up. Are visitors really welcome or tolerated? Suely the church should be open to all for either private prayer or pilgrimage.

This Priory is immense and takes you by surprise as its size, architecture and character are overwhelming for a Priory. Such is its grandeur I honestly thought it was a Cathedral.

Set approximately 1 mile from the seafront in the "Old Town", this is the finest building in Bridlington by some distance. The first surprise was how large it is; originally part of a monastic settlement until dissolved in the 16th.Century. Beautiful stained glass windows. The...More

Fantastic large church with its history well documented as you tour the church. Lovely stained glass windows and several pieces of furniture by the mouseman, and for kids, the challenge of finding the mice. Charming volunteers ready to help and provide information. Shop and a...More

We would recommend any visitor to the town to walk up to the 'old town' and whilst there to visit this fine church. Historically an ancient and important centre point in the town that has a very long history both on land and sea. Internally,...More
