I have been visiting this place for many years and understand that in January most of it is closed. We took a cold brisk walk up there and had a look around the garden. A little tent was set up in the outdoor area with heaters which was very nice to get out of the cold. We ordered some food... More

Lovely walk around the grounds and gardens in these winter months. Will pop in during summer to see it at its splender

On a sunny, chilly morning I drove my family a short distance to this local attraction. Their first visit but, one of my favourite spots near my home in Bridlington. We wandered around the extensive grounds and took a walk along the clifftops with magnificent views of Bridlington and Flamborough cliffs. My elder son and his partner visited Sewerby Hall... More

This place offers great parking for dog walkers wanting to walk over the cliffs and down to the beach. The views over Bridlington are stunning. Admission to the hall or the zoo is £3 per adult. £5 buys a ticket to both. The zoo is a little basic, with llamas, birds, pigs, penguins, coatis, lemurs etc. Good for kids, but... More

Sewerby Hall is set back from the cliffs between Bridlington and Flamborough with a superb view of the sea, and with a lovely park round it including two walled gardens. There is also - during the opening period, which appears to be March to October - a small zoo, shops, a cafe and the house itself has been converted to... More

Came to Bridlington for first time in 1980. Not been back since. Few changes. We came to Sewereby hall and had a great day. In the house zoo and heard a pianist in the orangery. Lovely.

A lovely place for a sunny November walk - free to get in which helps! Great drinks in the clock tower cafe.

In the Summer we love to walk through Bridlington's beautiful cliff top park to visit the house and gardens which are both exceptional. My favourite is the walled rose garden In the Winter visitors are welcome to stroll around the gardens with no charge. It is worth paying to see the House though as it is full of history. Refreshments... More

Our visit took place on a mild day in December. Parking was not a problem. Our first stop was the Café. The Clock Tower café is almost surrounded with scaffolding but temporarily we dined "under canvas". It was very pleasant, warm and comfortable. The tea (must be Yorkshire) was a lovely cuppa. We decided on a visit around the house... More
