I found the staff to be rather rude, well one staff member in particular, I suggest you don't bother. Expensive into the mix. What more do you want me to say? Go somewhere else!

Good ale / beer options, nice view of the viaduct. I visited during winter, but he beer garden is ok and they seem to have band sometimes. Would always pop by for a pint or two when in Stockport.

Great selection of ales and the occasional interesting cider or two. Dated look to the place but that's part of the charm.

The crown occupied a prestigious location under the viaduct arches. Plenty on offer behind the bar, and staff seemed chatty enough. Sadly the pub had only a few other punters in and lacked any atmosphere.

Popped in. Had a pint of OPA. Or rather had about 6 sips of a pint of OPA before giving up. It tasted of vinegar. The barmaid assured me it was meant to taste sour. Wrong. It was vinegar. But I'm still giving the place...More

This is a pub that truly understands beer and if you're hungry, there are usually pies on offer as well. There are often musicians in here, particularly at weekend and the pub itself has a lot of authentic charm. Only one tiny problem is that parking...More
