Amazing day out!
Jun 2021 • Family
We have been twice in the past half term and my 4 and 7 year old are begging to go again tomorrow 🙈!
Lewis is *AMAZING*! So welcoming, funny and caring with the children. My boys love him!
All the staff are lovely, so much for the children to do and see, the tractor driver was so considerate and kind with the children too.
Cleanliness 10/10
Lunch 10/10
Organisation 10/10
Thanks for the wonderful memories and we definitely be back soon!

A wonderful afternoon
May 2021 • Friends
We had such a lovely afternoon here, they’ve made loads of changes to it developing the outside space, our kids (8 and 5) loved the new play areas. It’s absolutely worth the money. The staff were all so lovely, and we fell in love with Mario the guinea pig - if he’s ever up for adoption let us know, he’s gorgeous!

Took 3 of our Grandkids from 1 to 4, there was plenty for each age group and they absolutely loved it, especially meeting and feeding the animals! Great day had by all!

A lovely Birthday treat
May 2021 • Family
A lovely little farm, where the animals looked very well cared for. We had an amazing day for my Son's 3rd Birthday, he had such a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much ttrouble. The children's play area was really good, with lots to do and there was a tractor ride you could take for a small £2 fee, which was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend a day out here.

Visit with a toddler
May 2021
My toddler loved our visit to the farm, extremely well organised and good covid procedures in place. We visited before indoor facilities opened so we couldn't try the tea rooms. The play area is large and lots of the equipment is suitable for young children. My son enjoyed his tractor ride too. Only improvement would be some healthy meal options for children. Overall a great visit.

Great farm to visit!
Apr 2021 • Couples
Amazing place! Was a tad crowded at opening time but soon got quieter so got around the farm and saw all the animals several times.
The staff were kind and helpful letting us hold and pet the baby animals.
A really great place worth the visit.

Easter farm fun
Apr 2021 • Family
Great visit this morning on the day of reopening for the Easter Farm Fun. Really well organised! Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Loads of different animals, all really well kept and looked after. Think the meerkats were our favourites! It was lovely as it wasn’t rammed, there were no queues for toilets, refreshments, equipment in play area etc. Plenty of picnic benches to sit on. Slight queue for train ride but that’s all. Kids had a brilliant morning and didn’t want to leave. My son is dairy free and was offered a lovely, luxury dairy free alternative - I was seriously impressed! The whole session was fab. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect visit
Aug 2020 • Family
Can’t recommend this place enough. The kids loved seeing, petting and feeding the animals. They even got the chance to hold some of the smaller ones. Although the indoor play area was closed due to COVID restrictions, the outdoor playground is huge and they both loved it. Well worth the money as you can literally spend all day there.

There’s usually an ice cream van on site and there’s plenty of picnic tables to sit down and eat with the kids. Fantastic day out.

Most aggressive staff I've ever met
Oct 2020 • Friends
Absolutely appalled at the aggression of staff on this site. Got lost while out walking and ended up using the river to guide us home which led us to the farm. We immediately made ourselves known to a member of staff who helpfully offered to guide us out. Crisis averted. Until another staff member saw us and immediately became extremely aggressive towards us, kicking off calling us every name under the sun just because of a simple mistake (bearing in mind there wasn't a single 'private land' sign and we had assumed we were still in reddish vale country park). We made our way to the exit before 'hard lad number 2' presented himself asking me to "try it" while squaring up inches from me. I had no other intention than getting off the farm. So after a pretty embarrassing display by the comedy duo on the farm (proud day for you both), I can safely say we will be strongly advising everyone to stay away.

This review fails to mention that to get to the farm these grown men had to come across a private golf course, climb over a barbed wire stock fence, walk through a field with livestock in then climb over three more padlocked gates. After reading this review I realise I also need Private Land Signage because the four obstacles and livestock you have to negotiate are not enough. My only worry then is that people who are that stupid to ignore these might not be able to read the signs. I then asked why, after cutting across a golf course and encountering a barbed wire fence you did not retrace your footsteps. The answer I received was"whats your problem". Obviously it is a problem and I informed them of this fact. One of the two did not like being told and proceeded to get quite angry. A colleague then arrived to assist me and they were escorted off site and told not to trespass again
