Love Love Love Bury Market and like it when we have a weekend getaway in the area so we can visit. Many of the stalls have stayed the same over the years and it's always bustling with people. The stall holders are all friendly, a wide variety of goods and some great places to sit with a coffee to rest... More

Visited whilst on a business trip and will certainly return as I have never seen such a well used or stocked market. The meat and fish counters had such a fantastic and fresh offer. The market was bustling and had a great atmosphere with lots of noise and smells. Will return so I can stick my freezer with some great... More

Our visit was on a sunny Wednesday, the full market is Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. we had some 'free' tasters of cheese and sausages . This is a large area with an indoor fish & meat market hall along with plenty of outdoor stalls, some undercover. There is such a variety of food, fancy goods, clothing, flowers, wool and much... I'm not a huge fan of markets, having been dragged around too many as a child. However, I LOVE Bury Market. There are indoor and outdoor stalls, and it's thriving. A good choice of stalls, and a fabulous covered meat and fish hall - very traditional with stakeholders shouting about their daily offers. Some real bargains to be had (scrumptious... More

I do like going to the markets when I visit. If you have never been to an English market it is an interesting experience. It is mobbed on a market day. Not easy to get around especially with a wheelchair or stroller. If you need something you will find it there. I love the cheese shop as I can find... More

Being local we're lucky to have this here, a great range of fresh, good, local produce, and at great prices, the local pies are excellent, very close to some nice places that do a good breakfast also.

there is plenty of choice at Bury Market from every sort of food including the famous Black Puddings, to clothing, shoes and handbags, plus all household necessities. You can even have a snack and a cup of tea or coffee and one of the many places on the market. it can be a good day out.
