It is a steep walk up to the tower, not for the mobility impaired or faint hearted. Nothing to do at the top but the views are fabulous on a clear day.

Great walk for the kids and dogs. Even on a sunny day, can be a bit nippy and windy at the tower. Nice village for a meander at the base.

Always check that the tower is open before walking to the top if that’s why you are going up. The peel tower is great if it’s open but even if is not the walk and the views are worth the walk anyway. You can take...More
