We had a super event here. The buffet was excellent and we were able to display our poetry 'archive' beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen Davenport and many of our poets made very positive comments about the venue. The Gallipoli room looked stunning with the display of the Fusiliers' silver.

If your visiting Bury or your a local who hasn't visited this fabulous Museum it's well worth a trip. I've been 4 times and enjoyed each visit more each time. There are lots of displays and on screen quizzes. Makes you really proud of the Lancashire Fusiliers and their history. Really enjoyable plus there's a Café Restaurant which can be... More

As a trustee of another military museum (Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum at Hever) I had heard great things about the Fusilier Museum in Bury, but until this week I never had a chance to visit. I am so glad I finally made it - the mixture of displays and interpretation is excellent, and you also sense the community connection... More

I visited here in January whilst staying in Bolton. I wanted to visit as part of a personal family history trail to find my ancestors, my father and Uncle both having served in the Lancashire Fusiliers in the 1950's. The staff were very helpful, the exhibits fascinating and the coffee shop were all wonderful, If you're interested in military history... More

We booked our wedding for 2nd April 2017 and cannot thank Helen Davenport and her staff enough for making our wedding day one of the best day's of my life. The venue itself was amazing and all our guests were pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was. From entering this beautiful venue up the stoned, red carpeted stairs, to being allowed... More

We visited after a recommendation by a friend and are so glad we did! There is so much information and memorabilia of the Fusiliers history, it is quite humbling and emotional to read some of the letters written by the soldiers and their family. The cafe is also excellent and there is so much choice.

Took our grandson to the Museum today for "Bubble Painting" one of their free holiday activities. Staff were very friendly and settled us in with the paper and paint, gave my grandson one piece of crucial advice 'Don't suck' also talked to him about the theme of the painting and showed him some examples. He had a great time painting... More
