The Severn Valley Railway offers a fantastic heritage steam and diesel service between Kidderminster, Worcestershire and Bridgnorth Shropshire. We operate over 200 days a year and offer a perfect day out that includes a superb visitor centre at Highley Station called The Engine House.

This is well worth A try. It's a very relaxing and scenic trip. Children enjoy the experience of the steam train and how it used to be.it's nice to be able to jump on and off the trains at various stations

At bridgenorth there is parking for larger vehicles on the slope up to the station. Get there early though as it's limited.
