Worcestershire County Museum, housed in historic Hartlebury Castle, explores the wonders of Worcestershire through displays of social history, costume, archaeology and an extensive collection of horse drawn vehicles and gypsy caravans. Evocative room sets from different eras also help visitors to discover what life was like for our ancestors. Various family events take place throughout the year. The site also has a café, shop, nature reserve & picnic areas.

So many well presented, interactive and thought provoking displays. The rooms through the ages and the transport displays are really great. Great value too! Must see the gypsy caravans !

You find yourself transported back in time and on a real nostalgic trip down memory lane during your visit. A fabulous old Schoolroom, a Nursery and a Scullery to name a few gems which can be to be seen. Well worth a visit.

Had a great day recently as there were lots of things to keep the children occupied. Very interesting museum and we treated ourselves to lunch in the cafe. Food was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent.

I am not sure. Dogs may be okay in the outside areas and possibly in the gypsy caravan display barn. Best to check with the property before travelling. I expect assistance dogs would be allowed throughout.
