This is lovely for a short stroll around the lake. Perfect for young families (also has a play area) and also for older people. It is a favourite for my parents who are in their eighties. Not long enough really for more serious walkers. Small...More

We took the grandchildren here last week. They enjoyed the nature trail from the carpark. There are a good number of picnic benches and seats around. There are toilets at the café. The playground is excellent - well-maintained and imaginative. The only drawback is that...More

We called here on 14/5/18 just as the workmen were finishing extensive renovations. The dog had a good run about and we sat by the lake in the early morning sunshine. The park was pristine, lets hope it stays that way!

A quiet place on the edge of the small market town. Pretty walk around the tree lined lake, with a very well maintained children's playground near the beginning of the walk. Tea room open on a couple of days. Lots of wildlife to see and...More

This is a beautiful area within walking distance of my brother's house. It is special because my brother put a bench there after the death of her wife. Thus a quiet time for reflection while looking over the lake. Often only the ducks for company!
