We had some time to kill so spent 45 minutes wandering here. There’s a range of shops from charity shops to higher-end stuff and plenty of coffee and snack places alongside decent restaurants.

Marlborough high street a most attractive location with great history and architecture. There are many eating options. This is never a quiet town as it has the widest street in UK. Definitely return.

Visited Marlborough on a Saturday night. Plenty of pubs to try and many restaurants beckon. We did a complete circuit of pubs and then to Steins fish restaurant. Great evening and lovely picturesque high street.

Loads of variety and good quality retailing. Parking is ok but not cheap. Plenty of places to eat and drink.

This is what a High Street should be like with easy parking, market stalls and independent shops. If you want to see the archetypical country town high street this is it !!
