Everyone know about Milton Hershey & his chocolate bars but there was much more to him than that. This is the place to learn about the unique school that has given wonderful opportunities to so many underprivileged children.

Founder's Hall at the Milton Hershey School it is beautiful marble stairs. Breath taking of elegances from a man who loved children and want to make life better for them. The gardens are delightful to walk and relax in them. Amazing place to photograph.

Founders Hall was closed for renovations on 8/30/16. No sign as to duration. Grounds are very nice. Good stop, if Hall was open when coming in off of Pa turnpike. Hope to visit next time. Call to ensure Hall is open if you plan to visit.

One of the best kept secrets of Pennsylvania. Milton Hershey, namesake for the famous chocolate bar and community, started a school for disadvantage children in 1909. More than 100 years later, the school provides life-changing opportunities for boys and girls as young as four and through high school graduation. All funded by the Hershey businesses. Bet you didn't know.
