Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.

Go for the Sampler so you can get a taste of the various brews they offer. This way you can make a choice to order a beer. The food was good, it was a thing to do while there.

We made an on-line reservation for 12:30 on the Thursday before Christmas. I called before booking, because I really didn't know our schedule. The man I spoke to said if we arrived earlier we could switch to the 11:30 tour. We ended up arriving a little before opening time at 11...and just as he promised since there were still openings... Minutes from interstate 81. Near Hershey Park. Signed up for tour online. When we arrived earlier than expected, we enjoyed their food. Everything you can imagine. Finger food to entrees, cheeses and portions they recommend to share! We really enjoyed their Mac N Cheese with sausage and mushroom. The tour group was small and personable. We really enjoyed our guide... More

Great PA brewery with a variety of beers. Trying Mango IPA, Solid Sender and Blizzard of Hops. They not only serve beer, but you can enjoy food and either a guided tour or self guided tour.

Visited Hershey to see the lights and Hershey World and was interested to see what else was close by, Troegs was fantastic! We toured the brewery for $5 and received samples of beer through out the 45 minute tour and also got a complimentary Troegs glass! After the tour we headed down to the tasting room where they have a... More

I was in Hershey this past weekend to see the lights display and while researching things to do, this brewery tour came up. I would highly recommend going, it is only $5 a person for a 45 minute tour and at the end you get a Troeg's beer glass as a souvenir. We reserved our tickets online for 2:30, got... More

Hershey is best know for chocolate. However, they also have good Craft Beer!!! The Troegs Brewery, which moved just a couple of years ago from Harrisburg to Hershey has a state of the art brewery here. All kinds of Craft Beer here, but try their TROEGENATOR doublebock!! Real tasty and one of the best Craft Beers I have tasted!!

I had to pick friends for type of visit but it was my adult daughter and I. I highly recommend spending the $5.00 for the guided tour. If not for the personal tour for the 2 beer tastings. Our guide was awesome. He was actually one of the beer heads that volunteered time when the brewery was first starting. After... More

We went after seeing the many reviews here. It's an interesting place and you can see all the machinery and tanks used to make the alcohol. The food was not bad. However, be prepared for large crowds as I don't know when off-peak is for this place. Also, be prepared for frustration with parking because the parking lot for the... More
