Yes the butterflies are beautiful. But this is not great value for your money. At $12.50 per adult & $9.50 per jr day of visit in May 2017 it is certainly over priced. Nice spot, spend about an hour of you have the money & someone who loves butterflies, if not keep moving and you will be okay.

This was the most beautiful garden I have been through. As far as the eye can see is nothing but beauty. I highly recommend a visit to anyone who is an outdoor lover. Great for kids and adults. A must see!!

Our visit was too early for a large part of the gardens. Even the trees weren't out strong yet. The place is easy to find, right by the hotel and near the park entrance. The grounds are worth the time. Follow one of the trails and walk around looking at the many areas such as the herb garden, the kiddie... More

We arrived late in the afternoon so we went to see the butterflies first. It's a small area, but you see the butterflies well. There are a variety of butterflies to see, but don't expect them to land on you, there aren't interested in doing that. We also enjoyed walking in the gardens. It's a little expensive, but we really... More

23 acres of beautiful gardens! The Children's garden was my favorite, with games, toys, splash pad, and even a little amphitheater! Don't miss the butterfly atrium, it was filled with every kind of caterpillar and butterflies you can imagine! It also overlooks Hersheypark with great views of all the roller coasters and fun going on over there! Nice for a... More

This is a great outdoor activity. We try to visit the community gardens in every place we vacation! It's a great way to get some exercise in and enjoy the scenery. There is a fee to enter, but the gardens, grounds, and butterflies are worth the view. We visited the third week of May so there were many flowers in... More

I have lived close to Hershey most of my life but never went to Hershey Gardens. What a beautiful place! So much to see! Obviously it depends on the time that you visit. We had missed the tulips (my favorite) but still saw a lot of Spring flowers in bloom. There is a children's garden which is great for kids... More

Mother's Day was crowded; but the line at the Butterfly Gardens moved quickly; It was the highlight for me as there weren't as many flowers in bloom this time of year. The butterflies were in abundance and were quite captivating to old and young. A young woman was in a wheel chair; but had no problems. The paths throughout the... More
