Hershey starts here! How did Milton Hershey go from bankruptcy to brilliance, transforming chocolate from a luxury to an everyday treat? How did he invent a community? Why did he give away his fortune? That's the Hershey story. Enjoy a 45-minute, hands on class in the Chocolate Lab and sample warm drinking chocolate from around the world at Tastings. Grab a delicious treat from the Pantry Café and find a unique assortment of keepsakes and chocolate at Museum Shop.

We absolutely loved making our own chocolate bar, and sampling the specialty chocolates in the creation lab. It was worth the extra cost to do those things. We would go back.

The museum is beautiful, interactive, and very engaging! We were surprised that we spent almost 2 hours here. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once.

You learn about all Hersey himself did to make this town what it has become. Just a great story from a kind man. A nice step back in time

Just go to the park and avoid the 12 dollar fee to do nothing but look at a small Hershey museum. Most of the facts you can learn for free at Hershey world on their tour. Complete rip off.

We stopped in here on the way home from a trip to the Smoky Mountains this past year. The admission was a bit pricey, but the museum is vast with a ton of different exhibits and history. We did not have the time to make...More

This museum pays homage to the man who started it all. How he cared for his workers, the town, the community. He was very forward thinking. Just adults in this visit today so we skipped the chocolate lab geared toward the younger crowd. They offered...More

Yes, there is a difference. The Create Your Own Chocolate Bar is hands on and you walk along watching an actual conveyor belt as the candy bar is being made. As part of the process, you also design your own wrapper and... More
