We took our GS troop before we headed to park. We only did the free tour ride -you wait in line for a bit ,but can read some information about chocolate and Mr. Hershey on the walls You only get snack size Hershey as sample and they have someone pass them out - they probably don't trust folks to just... So the free tour is not actually a factory tour. It's an amusement park ride through a simulated factory...animatronics, music, etc. While likely obvious, avoid Saturday afternoon. Waited 20 mins in a snail paced line that wound from the front door to the loading area. Ride lasts 10 mins, and is rewarded with a free Halloween-size candy bar. Can't speak... More

I am a local as well as a former employee of CW. First of all, and most importantly, remember this is a tourist destination, and ad such, expect crowds. The GOOD : The highlight of CW is the animated ride that explains Hershey chocolate making. If you ever went on Its a small world ride at Disney world, this ride... More

Went here with my daughter and wife to see the new free factory tour ride. However this is not a real active working factory. The ride exit leaves you out into a huge chocolate world store. With all different Hershey products for you to purchase. All the candy and products although are priced as if you purchased them in a... More

This was a nice place for a least a one time visit if you are in the area. It's pretty much a glorified candy store and souvenir shop.

Had a great time roaming around here. If you want anything Hershey related (cloths, pillows, mugs and of course candy/chocolate) this is place to go. Lots of things to see and do. They even had several place to eat.

First, let me warn you about the parking fees. When we arrived, we did not read the parking fees listed on the ticket and found out the hard way that the parking fee is $40 if you stay 5 or more hours. Three to 5 hours is $15. Under 3 hours is free. The fees are not posted on a... More

This Disneyesque attraction is just like Disney....all fake. With the cartoon character narration and faux choclates processed by fake machinery this is not a factory tour. If you went to EPCOT, would you tell your friends you went to China, Mexico or Norway? If you go to Chocolate World, you cannot tell your friends it was a factory tour.

Hershey Story is conveniently located across from Hershey Park. And conveniently closes two hours after the park closes so you can make it a pit stop on your way back to the car. The kids enjoyed the little ride which demonstrates how chocolate is made at the Hershey factory. After the ride they give you a mini Hershey bar. Once... More

My kids ALWAYS love this part of visiting Hershey... and who doesn't like free stuff?! Because we've been several times before, we knew what to expect but my kids put this on the top of their morning agenda every time. It was the longest line we had all day, but still moved through in 10-15 mins which was completely forgotten... More
