We visited this area when our family went kayaking. It's beautiful and easy to get to. We took a picnic and even the kids enjoyed the area after their kayak trip.

The recent renovation of Martin's Mill covered bridge is impressive. There is a lot of history here and the fact that the bridge was lifted off of the foundation during the Hurricane Agnes flood of 1972 adds to the story. The bridge is now closed...More

The bridge was recently rebuilt to bring it back to its glory. There is a park with tables for picnics and you can also swim in the Conococheague Creek to cool off. August 13 the bridge will be open for a drive thru. It is...More

I believe this is probably the biggest covered bridge I have ever seen...and like the park itself was very well maintained and a fun place to hike. The only complaint I have is that the frisbee trails were not very well marked for the next...More

This has always been a favorite spot to just walk and think. It's always quite and relaxing! A little disappointed that the swimming hole isn't open this summer , but I totally understand that the bridge needed fixed . Can't wait till next summer

A semi-romantic stop with the "babbling brook" peacefully flowing under this historic covered bridge. With its bright red coloration and picturesque wooden interior, we enjoyed sitting in front of the screened windows in the bridge and watch the river go by.
